Graeme Ring is film and video editor working on documentary features and shorts, as well as commercial and branded content.
After studying film theory and communications at Brock University and cutting his teeth as a video editor, he moved to Toronto to work on films as an assistant editor and eventually picture editor. Graeme has emerged with a focus on character-driven observational documentaries, with films screening in festivals worldwide and earning awards and nominations including a Canadian Screen Award for Best Documentary Program and Best Cross-Platform documentary for My Millennial Life (2016), CSA Best Documentary program for Cheer Up (2017), CSA Best Documentary Editing and Hot Docs DGC special Jury prize for What Walaa Wants (2018).
When not at home editing with his assistant editor/dog Connor, Graeme can be found at a downtown movie theatre, BBQ restaurant, or hockey rink.
